ROB KELLNER

WEHO PREVAIL MASTER COACH

Coach Rob is the self-proclaimed team captain of Prevail. His combat sports journey took off at the age of 8 years old, training and competing in Muay Thai, American Kickboxing and Kenpo Karate. His introduction to traditional boxing began after a session with Milan in 2013. After a year of training alongside Milan in the art of Boxing, Rob wanted in on the coaching action, and has become an integral part of what makes the Prevail experience so unique.

A former baseball & football player as well, his coaching style incorporates the uplifting and inclusive feel of team sports into the world of boxing. You could say that Coach Rob is the "team captain" of Prevail. He heads up the programming department of Prevail's daily workouts, has coached over 5,000 classes, is a CPT and is responsible for building up the coaching team internally to better serve the Prevail community.

Rob understands that every day is different, and every client is unique, so he makes it his goal in every class--to help each Prevailer grow toward their potential in some way. He is a technician when teaching proper boxing form, coupled with being an extravert who thrives in high energy large group settings...well, then you've got the recipe for the perfect boxing group trainer to lead you to the promised land.

Although he's known for his raspy voice and dad jokes, rest assured that Coach Rob's genuine passion for teaching and helping others is at the root of everything he does for Prevail.
